Some Job Search Tips from a Recruiter and Job Search Coach
1. Apply for roles on the company’s website. "Easy apply" may seem tempting, but you may be missed in the selection process due to various factors.
2. Networking matters. Craft targeted messages to recruiters and hiring managers. A generic "here's my CV, do you have a job for me?
won't cut it. Put effort into tailoring the message.
3. You could ace the interview and still not land the job. Remember, you’re great, but the competition is huge at the moment and other factors can come into play. Keep moving forward and never stop searching until you have officially landed the job.
4. Discuss salary upfront. Knowing your worth and asking for it.. that's true power. Research salary for your level, and don't undercut yourself.
